GSI
completed the implementation of ADISAM’s new
state-of-the-art 5.6m antenna at the International Teleport facility
in Piata Unirii (The Union Square) in Bucharest and has been
operational since December 1999. This Teleport has been designed
with complete fault-tolerant redundancy 2+1, 350 Watts, and it is
monitored 24 hours / 7 days by both a local team and via the NSX
Network Operations Center.

Located in the heart of
Bucharest, ADISAM Telecom Teleport, ATcT offers a gateway to
the United States and Europe by providing direct access to INTELSAT,
NSS, EUTELSAT, and SKYNET’s hottest satellites. ATcT allows
a direct link via satellite to US Internet backbones, AT&T-
CerfNet and Sprint Applied Theory of 45 Mbps, providing any capacity
link ranging from 64 Kbps to 100 Mbps and giving solutions for any
type of network. All hardware is ISO 9000 certified.

access services to the backbone in the US using TELSTAR 12 and NSS
101 satellites provide the most cost-effective and high-quality
services for ISPs in Bucharest/Romania.
